A little bit confused how it relates to the them but hey this is really cool and unique
you have to play it for a little while to find out. The contents of those documents you're censoring do start to get a little concerning if you pay attention to them, or in other words: under the surface of the documents is where the game truly lies.
ooohhhh wait that's a very smart interpretation of the theme
I love it - definitely stands out from the other games in this jam since I've already rated 2 that look like they have heavy AI usage
Also would it be possible for you to add a pause feature to the game? I changed tabs cause I had to leave for a second and when I focused on the game again the counter started ticking down but there was nothing I could do to start typing again
You know what I absolutely should & will upload a version with that ability when Ember ends :)
I already have my code structured in such a way that I can probably add a new command for that in a few minutes so that's definitely an easy feature and good idea
by the way if you're curious about what is "under the surface" in this game, pay attention to the contents of the letters for a little bit. It becomes clear.
fellow linux nerd here (im alec from cf vancouver)
goog game ok so heres my nitpicks
- needs fish shell
- wheres vim
-
needs to beclearly entirely vibecoded by Copilot and Claude- nix is better than arch btw
also ur spaghetti code tastes good btw
Hey! Weren't you in the team that sat in front of me? Anyways here's my response to your nitpicks, in order: fish is was complicated, vim is was complicated, fuck AI, I tried nixos for a while and it gave me a headache. I should add fish-style completion at some point, and maybe I will, but for right now this is the game I made so we're running with it.
yeah i was in the team in front of u
also nix gives me headaches too but its worth it
I love this game so much I'm so sad that it doesn't work
